Injection molding tools

We as ATA KALIP VE PLASTİK SAN. VE TIC. LTD. ŞTİ . see ourselves as a reliable partner for the development and production of injection molds of the highest precision. Our tools are specially designed to meet the high demands of purchasers and engineers in industrial series production - from dimensional accuracy and tool life to efficiency in production.

We develop and produce injection molds that are used in a wide range of industries - from the automotive industry and medical technology to electronics and packaging technology. We attach great importance to technical parameters such as the number of cavities, cooling channel design, surface quality and material compatibility. Our tools are designed so that they can be used in hydraulic, electric and hybrid injection molding machines and deliver reliable performance even with high clamping forces and complex process sequences.

With state-of-the-art production technologies and high-quality tool steels (e.g. 1.2312, 1.2738, 1.2343), we ensure that our injection molds not only produce precise components, but are also economical and durable. For purchasers this means predictable investment security, for engineers maximum process stability and quality.

Your manufacturer for injection molds

We design and produce injection molds that are specially tailored to the requirements of industrial series production. We attach great importance to maximum precision, long service life and economical cycle times - tailored for use in hydraulic, electric and hybrid injection molding machines.

We create full transparency for purchasers and engineers by providing detailed technical information: from the number of cavities, material selection and heat treatment to cooling channel and injection concepts, surface requirements, defined process windows and clearly documented maintenance and spare parts strategies.
Injection molding tools

Single cavity

Single-cavity molds are the first choice for prototypes, pilot series, qualifications and precise small series. The single cavity enables tight tolerance management and stable sampling.

Typical machine technology

  • Standard machines (hydraulic/electric), medium injection pressures
  • Clamping force according to projected area (rule of thumb: 3-5 t/cm²)

Technical parameters (examples)

  • Dimensional accuracy: up to ±0.01-0.02 mm (depending on component)
  • Tool hardness: HRC 48-52 (case-hardened/hot-work tool steel)
  • Cooling: conventional, optional conformal (DMLS inserts)
  • Surfaces: polish to mirror, etching structures (VDI), laser

Materials & components

  • Plastics: ABS, PA6/PA66, POM, PC, PBT, PMMA, PPS, PEEK
  • Tool steels: 1.2312, 1.2311, 1.2738, 1.2343, 1.2344, 1.2083
  • Typical products: Housing parts, clips, functional samples
Request single form

Multi cavity

For mass production (packaging, consumer goods, automotive) with high output per cycle. Focus on balanced filling, homogeneous cooling and ease of maintenance.

Typical machine technology

  • High-performance injection molding machines with 200-5000 t clamping force
  • High-speed, highly dynamic injection units, stack molds if required

Technical parameters (examples)

  • Number of cavities: 2-96 (part-specific)
  • Service life: ≥ 1 million shots (steel selection, coating, maintenance)
  • Gating: Hot runner balanced / cold runner with sprue removal
  • Wear protection: PVD/CVD (TiN, AlCrN), DLC, hard chrome plating, nitriding

Materials & components

  • Plastics: PP, PE-HD/LD, ABS, PS, PET/PETG, TPE
  • Tool steels: 1.2738 (Ni-alloyed), 1.2083 (stainless)
  • Products: Closures, small technical parts, handles
Request multiple form

Multi-component molds (2K/3K)

For hard/soft combinations, multi-colors or functional integration (e.g. seal + carrier). Concepts: Turntable, index plate, transfer system.

Typical machine technology

  • 2K/3K machines with several plasticizing units
  • Synchronization of rotary plate/index and core pulls

Technical parameters (examples)

  • Fit & overmolding adhesion: part-specific temperature/time window
  • Gating: sequential hot runner, non-return valves coordinated
  • Temperature control: differentiated for each material component
  • Sealing surfaces: high flatness, precise centering

Materials & components

  • Combinations: PC+TPE, PA6+TPU, PP+TPE-S, PBT+LSR (for silicone-2K)
  • Tool steels: 1.2343/1.2344 (hot-work tool steel), 1.2083
  • Products: Switches, soft-grip handles, sealing modules, control knobs
Request multi-component molds

Hot runner mold

Minimal material loss, uniform filling and short cycles - ideal for thin-walled packaging, optical parts and high-volume components.

Typical machine technology

  • Electric precision machines with stable temperature control accuracy
  • Mold monitoring (pressure/temp), valve gate control

Technical parameters (examples)

  • Temperature control: ±1 °C at nozzle/distributor
  • Balancing: Hot runner layout according to flow path analysis
  • Surfaces: suitable for optics (e.g. PMMA/PC polish), low weld lines
  • Maintenance: nozzle service, screens, filters, low-wear melt channels

Materials & components

  • Plastics: PP, PET/PETG, PC, PMMA, PBT, part-specific
  • Tool steels: 1.2083/1.2085 (corrosion-resistant), 1.2344
  • Products: Closures, beakers, lens covers, laboratory parts
Request hot runner mold

Cold runner shape

Robust, economical concept for technical components and medium quantities. Simpler design, proven processes.

Typical machine technology

  • Hydraulic/electric standard machines
  • Sprue removal via robot/picker, sprue recycling possible

Technical parameters (examples)

  • Sprue design: film, point, tunnel/submarine gate
  • Cycle time: optimized via cooling channels, mould inserts, heat conduction
  • Wear points (gate/core): case-hardened, replaceable

Request cold runner mold

Prototype & pilot molds (aluminum molds)

Fast validation of geometry, material and process window; time-to-market reduction with a manageable budget. Suitable for small series and design freezes.

Typical machine technology

  • Use on standard machines (hydraulic/electric)
  • Optional hot runner ready, primarily cold runner for short delivery times

echnical parameters (examples)

  • Service life: 10,000-50,000 shots (depending on material)
